About Oxalis

Hi! I’m Lia, owner, operator, everything-er of Oxalis Gardens. My background working in nurseries paired with a lifetime love of the outdoors lead to starting Oxalis in 2022. Since then I’ve been creating beautiful landscapes that support life, create biodiversity, and enrich the lives of the people that inhabit them.

Whether it’s in a nursery, backyard, or classroom, I’m always trying to broaden my understanding of the complex systems that make up our home. Plants provide a lens to understand our place in these systems, and hopefully an opportunity to participate in a positive way. Native plant gardens not only benefit people, animals, and insects, but they provide a sense of place - context for where we are and how we got here.
